Feeding a Nem
Just picked up a new purple Nem. Trying to figure out how to feed this guy. Shut down all of my pumps and put the food on a spoon. However, as soon as I put the spoon in my tank the food came off of the spoon and my overweight greedy clowns ate it all. Is there a way I can get the food into the nem?
I spoke to one of the mods here and she was very helpful on the type of food to feed the Nem and gave me an idea on how to feed them (syringe), just wondering if there are any other ideas out there?
derek

Try a turkey baster or long tweezers.

LOL!
Do your self a favour...save your morning coffee money for one day and head to the dollar store and buy your own turkey baster. I would rather deal with cyano, hair algae, high nitrates, and ich all at the same time than to risk pi$$ing off the boss of my house....(ya thats right, I've been married long enough to know who's really in charge here).

Re: Feeding a Nem
I use a feeding tube to feed my long tentacle. Its a clear plastic airlift tube from the fish store, I put a piece of fish in the tube then let it sink down the length of the tub to the anemone.

I unfortunetley enjoy my morning coffee too much. Looks like I will be swiping the wifes baster. If she wants a new one, she can go pick one up herself!
Right Shannon?
