Beyond The Reef's Color Choices

Post by 2Frosty4u on Fri May 01, 2009 7:33 am

I just want to voice my opinion on the subject of the website designers choice of background color. I personally find the dark grey background overwhelming and find it makes reading some parts of threads and the site difficult and awkward. The worst thing is that the Usernames under the avitars are also grey and as an old guy with failing eyesight it really have to strain to see the persons name. Just my 2 cents.

First off let me say Thanks for the reply. I'm sure changing the colors is a PITA but maybe someday when you do a software upgrade or something you can re-evaluate them and if you do, personally for the background or should I say for the colors of the body of the site I prefer whites and various shades of blue to highlite various area's that remind my of beautiful coral filled oceans with darker text. I find the brighter colors less of a strain on the eyes when I do lots of reading. For the grey on grey Name issue if thats a simple change I would be happy with the shade of blue Your name shows up as Shannon.
