As with most skimmers the gallon rating Coralife provides is grossly over rated. In a moderatly stocked tank I would suggest you take the rating coralife lists and cut it in half. ie. instead of going with a Superskimmer 125 on a 90g tank go with the Superskimmer 220. This I learned the hard way early on.
