looking to breed amplipod''s

I would like to culture amplipod's

should I dose phyto or flake food or both

it will be in a 10Gto20G predator free tank/container with aqua clear hang on filter no media with nitrate/bioball's and a tray or something at the bottem to lift up the nitrate/bioball's and scoop/filter some ampipod from the bottem of tank/container

is there a better way of doing this thank's?
