Hey all,
As you know I am new to the reef hobby and would like to know what would do better in a 29 gal. biocube if at all? The torch coral or the hammer coral. I want to get one of them cause I think they just look so awsome in the currents. Also are they hard corals to care for. Any advice would be great.

Hey there..

Well I have both in my 29g biocube and in my 12g biocube...they sit halfway up on the rocks, and the current is medium ..they have been fine in mine...
Hope this helps...

Easy to care for provided your lights are replaced on time (says the guy with 16 month old actinics) and you keep up with water changes etc.... I have about five of them in my tank (for sale) in various stages of growth from mini buds poking out of skeleton to 8+heads. I also have that colt coral as well.....

what do you feed them or do they only need the lights?
