My 75g Empty My 75g

Post by BurgerKing Mon Dec 08, 2008 10:54 pm

This Is'nt a saltwater tank as my 28g wont be set up until the new year. It's my 75g Agrican Cichlid(Malawi) tank, it's my pride and joy for now.

This is a full tank shot, the water is still a little cloudy as I had changed my substrate a few days earlier.

Feel free to ask questions, or give your opinion on my tank, I'm still trying to expand my knowledge on fishkeeping and I'm sure you'll all be hearing me ask a lot of questions(about saltwater).

I havent kept salt water, so yah im new. I kept brackish for a little bit then fell in love with mbuna. I kinda wish i kept with it, my male archer was a beauty. He spat at flies and everything. If my parents let me, im going to get a 24g cube and keep a pair of clowns or something, if the new tank is a no go, i'm converting my 28g. Im getting bored of FW, too easy. lol

SW is definately more challenging, I will give you a word of advice. Research, research, research.... nothing is more important and money saving than research. Trust me, I know, speaking from experience.

Thanks!!! Mbuna have so much personality!!! My big male Acei jumped out of my tank last night when I oened the lid to feed them. He landed on a plastic stool before hitting the ground so I was a little worried. I got him in ok, and I've been watching him closely all day.

Lol. He's been doing the shake all day, so Im guessing he's fine. I was mostly worried about the hair that was transfered from the carpet to his body, it was over his head an gills but it dissapeared quickly.
