im actually using H2Ocean and apparently its supposed to be the best for your tank if your building a reef! creates almost the same water as the great barrier reef. so for the price its about 30% more than instant ocean!

i have a box of IO incase i need a salt mix quick but i go to the ocean to get my water, and has been working for me for 2-3 years now

Red Sea Pro makes the same claim (supposedly evaporated from Red Sea water). I find it to be slightly defficient in magnesium though.

for me It seemed to have extra inorganic's not as filtered I believe as I.O but they say because of that it's better tried both for a long time instant ocean for me does the job

yeah as far as instant ocean goes from what i was told by numerous people at least that it doesnt contain all the proper balances of minerals but it will get the job done.

I use Reefers best salt. Have used it since Dec and have been pretty happy with my results.
