28g build

Post by BurgerKing on Sat Feb 07, 2009 11:07 pm

So, im starting to put together all the equipment for the conversion of my 28g. I got the light a while ago, and today I got the protein skimmer. I also have the salt and hydrometer. I still have to get the 2 Koralia 1 powerheads for flow, a heater, a better thermometer and a master test kit, in the next couple of weeks I'll get all of that.

Before I can install any of this I have to rehome all of the fish in my tank currently, some are going into my big tank and the rest to my friend... so I'm just waiting for my friends tank to cycle.

I will post pics from start to finish so stay tuned in. Very Happy

It will be a FOWLR for a few months but once I'm able to keep fish happy and healthy I'll add some corals like zoos or mushrooms. Its becoming a little more challenging to afford stuff now because paintball season is starting and I'm really into it. Slow and steady for now.
