My 29g Biocube build
Hey Everyone,
Well I purchased a 29g Biocube ..I finally got it up and running..
I filled it with water & sand from my DT...I added the live rock...I read up on using the back chambers as a fuge..So I removed the black paint from the back, and put in live rock rubble so far and Chaeto..I will post pics of this step in case anyone is interested...
I also added hairy mushrooms, Banggai Pair, Perc Pair, scooter blenney...
Last night I bought some Xenia frags...awesome deal 10$ for 5 big stalks local here..they look great!!..
The clowns are hosting in the hairy mushrooms now..lol..
I need to get a light for the fuge today hopefully..I had to puchase a new Actinic bulb ..ouch they are not cheap..hahaha...
I am looking for a toadstool frag..and maybe some hammers or something...
Will post pics later today..

Two of the simples mods to complete are cutting out the false bottom in rear chamber 1, and ditching the sponges and bioballs in chamber 2 in favour of liverock rubble. Another mod that would be good to consider is replacing the stock return pump with something a little more powerful for more flow. Google Biocube mods or modifications. You will get hundreds of hits.

Re: My 29g Biocube build
Could always drill the back pane in third chamber and plumb in a sump that sits in the cabinet. I had to add some icecap fans to keep moisture from accumulating in the stand. I will post full pics of system when my led lights arrive and I rip out my 4 X 36 watt lighting in favour of 90watts of led...boo ha ha ha (evil laugh).

The 29 gallon biocube are very use for number of reefs. It is a complete system for saltwater Reef environments. It offers an aesthetically appealing design and high quality components that make reef-keeping easier.
